Three tiers: SY-1231 cabinet NTP (BeiDou+GPS · TCXO · Up to 3840 · Accuracy ±1–5 ms) → SY-4096 half-width 1U stamp+OCXO+hardware time I/O (Up to 21,000 · sustained 20,000–21,000 · Accuracy ≤ 100 µs) → SY-8640 multi-port / dual supply (roadmap). Match scenario first.
Typical order model: SY-1231-BG-T-S
Cabinet GNSS LAN NTP Stratum 1. BeiDou+GPS discipline, TCXO holdover, single 10/100M port, plus Modbus / TTL 1PPS / minute PULSE. No IRIG, OCXO, dual NIC, or dual PSU. Up to 3840 NTP requests per second; Accuracy ±1–5 ms.
Fit Hospital weak-current, industrial cabinets, security NVR, office/metrology; single LAN port. Planning N=⌊η×R/f_poll⌋.

Typical order model: SY-4096-GN-O-S
Half-width 1U · single-port Web ops. Hardware-stamped NTP, OCXO, 1PPS / IRIG-B DCLS / programmable pulse / Modbus. NTP Support: Up to 21,000 req/s (sustained 20,000–21,000); Accuracy ≤ 100 µs.
Fit Factory, campus, and building-edge cabinets that need stamped NTP, OCXO, and hardware time I/O on one subnet.

Typical order model: SY-8640-GN-O-S Roadmap
Plant / multi-port path: separable mgmt/timing, multi-gigabit, optional dual supply. Planned direction only until the shipping datasheet—no standalone commitment figures.
Fit Power/metals plants needing separated mgmt/timing or multi-port form (roadmap); bridge with SY-1231 / SY-4096.

Solutions
Hospital, cabinet, security, auxiliary I/O (1PPS · PULSE · Modbus) → SY-1231; edge stamp+OCXO+IRIG → SY-4096; plant multi-port / dual supply → SY-8640. ★ marks focus industries.
HIS, EMR, and security subnets need one LAN time base to keep logs aligned. SY-1231 delivers GNSS-disciplined NTP Stratum 1 with BeiDou+GPS and TCXO holdover on a single port sized for typical weak-current cabinets—datasheet capacity and protocol boundaries support clear acceptance.
Primary: SY-1231 (hospital)
Learn moreProduction and automation cabinets need an inspectable on-prem time source for PLCs, IPCs, and logs. Single-port LAN NTP with one AC or DC inlet and front-panel LOCK checks; plan capacity from the datasheet formula.
Primary: SY-1231
Learn moreCameras, NVRs, and access platforms need consistent timestamps for correlation and search. Cabinet GNSS NTP keeps the reference inside your control boundary and cuts drift—usually a single LAN port is enough without hardware-stamp or OCXO upgrades.
Primary: SY-1231
Learn moreBeyond Ethernet NTP, sites often need TTL 1PPS, a minute PULSE, or RS-485 Modbus absolute time. Accept per channel—do not apply internal ns / 1PPS to NIC NTP. Shipping SY-1231 covers 1PPS + PULSE + Modbus (no IRIG); IRIG-B → SY-4096; multi-port / dual-supply → SY-8640.
Primary: SY-1231 (accept per channel)
Learn moreFactory, campus, and BA edge cabinets: half-width 1U single-port with hardware-stamped NTP, OCXO holdover, and hardware time outputs (1PPS / IRIG-B / programmable pulse). SY-4096 fits this tier—does not replace the multi-port / dual-supply flagship.
Select SY-4096; bridge with SY-1231
Learn morePower, metals, and plant SIS often need separated management and timing ports, multi-gigabit links, and dual supply. SY-8640 targets that scene—do not tender unpublished items; bridge with SY-1231 or SY-4096.

Specs are written per channel. Each shipping unit passes a factory gate. Commission on-site with the datasheet, Web exports, and client checklist. Contract acceptance is client measurement—not a factory PASS lamp.
Each SY-1231 is gated before ship: LOCK, LAN NTP, and 1PPS / PULSE / Modbus checked per channel. The Web UI shows a read-only factory record (PASS/FAIL); the ship ticket records SETID and firmware Build. Fixture thresholds stay internal; a PASS sheet without process detail can ship with the unit when required.
The datasheet and interface annex give per-channel steps: scope the 1PPS jack and Pin4 minute pulse, NTP via the client checklist, Modbus via the register map. The LCD is for patrol; accuracy and events go out as event_log.csv and quality_24h.csv. Hospital sites also have a 10-step bring-up note.
Support needs SETID, firmware Build, and event_log.csv / quality_24h.csv. The Sync Assistant is an optional field health-check (SNTP / client status)—not a metrology certificate, and it does not change host time by default. The config command library is licensed. The factory gate EXE is production-only and not a public download.
QA wording: include/exclude and accuracy layers follow the shipping datasheet. For support, send SETID + Build plus event/quality CSVs. Do not put internal second-edge figures into NIC acceptance.
